How SCL Recruitment collects, uses and protects personal data.
Who we are
SCL Recruitment ("we") is the trading name of SCL Recruitment Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16438483), registered office 10 Everdale Mount, South Elmsall, Pontefract WF9 2BA. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: info@sclrecruitment.co.uk.
What we collect and why
Contact enquiries. Name, company, email, phone and your message, used to respond to your enquiry. Lawful basis: legitimate interest.
Candidate registrations. Name, contact details, current role and employer, and your CV, used to assess your suitability for roles and contact you about relevant opportunities. Lawful basis: your consent at the point of registration, and legitimate interest in operating a recruitment service. We will never submit your details to a client without your prior agreement.
How long we keep it
Candidate data is held for a maximum of 24 months from your last contact with us, after which it is deleted unless you renew your consent. Enquiry data is held for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and for reasonable business records thereafter. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Where it's stored
Candidate and enquiry data is stored in HubSpot (EU data region) and our business email. Form submissions on this site are processed by HubSpot and Netlify, who act as data processors. This site uses fonts served by Google Fonts, which involves your IP address being sent to Google to deliver the font files. The HubSpot registration form may set cookies; see HubSpot's own privacy documentation for details.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email info@sclrecruitment.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Third parties
We do not sell personal data. We share candidate details only with prospective employers, and only with your agreement for each specific role.
